The TECO enzymatic homocysteine assay is a convenient dual vial liquid stable assay ideal for analyzers which require two part reagent systems. The assay provides a fast, accurate cost effective alternative to cumbersome and expensive immunochemical methods.
The TECO beta-Hydroxybutylrate (BHB) strip is quite sensitive (few false negatives) for subclinical ketosis when used with milk. The quantitative determination is from 0 micromole per liter to 500 micromole per liter or higher in just 3 minutes. The BHB strip is convenient to use at any time during milking.
The Teco Diagnostics Alcohol Saliva and Urine Screening Tests are simple two minute, one step, screening test for the detection of alcohol that works in a clean, non-invasive manner.
TECO Diagnostics is pleased to introduce a latex enhanced, immunoturbidimetric assay for the automated determination of Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in human blood. This new method directly determines %HbA1c on routine chemistry analyzers using only one channel.
The reagent is presented in a liquid stable format and can be performed on virtually any chemistry analyzer capable of handling two reagents. A calibrator and control set are also available for the TECO method to assure the integrity of each determination. The four level calibrator set has values for each level given in %HbA1c. The value for each level of calibrator is determined by referencing to National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) value assigned HbA1c frozen whole blood.
